I’m Starting to Like Cardio

Anyone who knows me knows that for me to do cardio you need to put a gun to my head. Surprisingly that hasn’t been the case this year. I’m starting to actually look forward to doing it, maybe it’s because I have company these days. One of my new team members Daniel Kraft is a huge fan of cardio and he’s been 100% committed our workouts and actually pushes me to get a cardio session in at least once a week. Last night we hit the weights and went for a job with one of my clients, good times. I was definitely the one struggling out of the 3 of us but hey I’m 200lbs now and my body hasn’t fully adjusted to the new weight (that’s really just one of my bullshit excuses). We had fun, though I think Danny was the one having the most fun, he was like a kid, super excited with tons of energy. The workout prior to the jog was awesome my chest and shoulders where on fire the entire time. The best part is I had a phenomenal pump! Totally psyched about how my physique is coming along.
Now time for me to drop some knowledge on you. Recently while taking my medical exercise specialist course I learned that open chain knee extensions are actually very rough on the knees. If you are going to do them you should stick only to the bottom part of the motion to minimize sheer force production. Terminal Knee Extensions are the way to go to improve knee stability and leguminous integrity.
