Putting the Fit in Fitness

Today started with an early morning jog in Van Courtlandt Park. We did the hills and man it was a challenge, the cold air was brutal and the hills where serious. I took the last few days off from training. I wasn't feeling well and I wanted my body to be ready for Team Avadeanlewis.com's May 2012 workout program. A six day split with legs, chest and back two times a week is going to be very taxing on the body. We should see some serious growth and definition from it.
This year has been filled with new opportunities. We will be doing a lot of work in Westchester, primarily New Rochelle, New York. We will be doing some great work with Beckwith Point, one of New Rochelle's beach clubs/catering halls. As usual we are doing joint ventures with New York Fitness Professionals (NY Fit Pros) and Integrated Medical Fitness. We also have projects in the works with a few other fitness websites, in a joint effort to teach people how to live happier, longer lives through proper nutrition and exercise.
Be on the lookout for more fitness videos from Team AvadeanLewis.com/NYFP/IMF.
I've been extremely busy preparing for my medical exercise specialist final exam, which is why I haven't been very active as of late. Don't worry as soon as that's all over and done I will be back to the task at hand. The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) have released a few new specialty certifications, all of which I plan to take. As my knowledge increases and I move a step closer to becoming the best at what I do, I will be putting out new information as well as putting a new spin on old information in an effort to bring you the best fitness tips.
